Bouty introduces Scope at Chicago’s NeoCon exhibition

Chicago, June 11, 2012 – Bouty is proud to announce the introduction of Scope at Chicago’s NeoCon, the international design exhibition for commercial interiors.

Created by designer Martin Ballendat in association with our European partner Viasit, Scope has already won many design awards in North America as well as in Europe, among others the « reddot design award », the « Good Design Award» and six awards at the Sidim.

The Scope collection is a complete family of products combining exceptional design and ergonomics. Every component was specifically designed using a consistent theme and style, creating a stunning visual impact. The elaborate backrest structure is a key element of the chair. It is equipped with an additional central pivot “pendolo” allowing for lateral movements around a vertical axis, thus offering a dynamic dimension to the backrest.

Another new feature of Scope is based on the integration concept of the seat functions: all buttons used to adjust the chair are integrated into the seat’s substructure. Nothing disturbs the pure lines of Scope. All the controls are intuitive, easy to find, understand and use.

Bouty is a privately owned company founded in 1949, established in Montreal North and specializing in the design and manufacture of office seating. The company’s products and systems are Greenguard, ISO 9001 and 14001 certified.
