Bouty has earned the following accreditations and certifications:
Bouty’s quality management system has had ISO 9001 certification since 1996. This standard dictates the organizational requirements for quality management systems in four main areas: management responsibility, quality monitoring, procedures and continual improvement.
The CAN/CGSB 44.232-2002 standard was established by the Canadian General Standards Board and lays out the dimensional and adjustment requirements set to meet the expected needs of the 5th to 95th percentile of adult office employees working in a seated position.
The ANSI/BIFMA X 5.1-2003 standard was established by the American National Standards Institute and requires that seats undergo rigorous resistance, solidity and safety testing. The majority of Bouty products have undergone such testing.
